  1. I agree because why would you want people coming into America that want to kill Americans? I feel unsafe because Obama does not care how easy it is for Muslim terrorists to come into our country. It makes sense that we should protect ourselves by decreasing the risk of terrorists entering America through stopping immigration of Muslims. Discrimination has nothing to do with protecting America. Discrimination is not equivalent to terrorism which is much more severe than the discrimination of a race. I agree with Trump in saying that actions need to be followed through with by stopping immigration of Muslims to protect the United States and that is the only way to decrease the risks of terrorist entering the U.S. Terrorists show no mercy so we should not take our chances by allowing immigrants who mostly believe in Sharia Law which is the principle belief of Muslim terrorists who want to kill us, allow them the opportunity to enter the U.S.

  2. I completely understand why Trump does not want any Muslim immigrants to enter the country. As of protecting the US citizens in America, not allowing these people to enter the country during this awful period where Isis is killing millions of people, I completely understand the situation. I think it’s a good idea to keep the illegal immigrants from entering America for now, until everything is figured out because it can help prevent any future disasters. As the government figures out what is really going on with Isis, as Trump mentions, it is smart to keep the American citizens safe as of now. I do not think this is ridiculous because it is not discrimination. Trump is doing this to protect the people of this country. As for not allowing Muslims who work in the American military home, I believe that is very disrespectful to them. For those Muslims to not be able to come back home to their families because they may be seen as a threat is probably devastating to them because they went out of the country to risk their lives for the lives of our people.

  3. I cannot comprehend the audacity and stupidity that has to be apparent in Donald trumps character for him to make this statement. I do not agree with either prazene or Lydia, in fact I feel the exact opposite. I have a couple reasons for this, firstly Donald trump is a disrespectful and conceited man. To ban an entire religion of people from coming to the United States is completely racist and close minded. I understand that something must be done to limit the violence going on in America, but I can promise you that banning Muslims will not do the trick. I recently wrote my CST research paper on islampphobia, or the fear of Muslims. A very controversial and important topic that is crucial to understanding in this day and age. Donald trump mentions the hatred present in Muslims, but I don't think he realizes how much the other people of America have come to fear and subsequently discriminate against this group as a whole. He says that 51% of Muslims stated that they want to abide by sharia law. This is 100% false, there is a very small population of Muslims that want to abide by sharia law and everyone else simply wants to lead a simple and calm lifestyle while worshiping God. If Donald trump really wants to make America feel safer and be a less violent environment, which is necessary, he needs to address the root of the issue which is not Muslims.

    1. Discrimination does not and has never resolved any issues, and this is no exception. By August of last year, there had been 207 mass shooting and only one of these shootings was completed by a Muslim. The numbers are reaching higher and higher, and In the past 336 days, there have been 355 mass shootings which are defined as the killing of 4 or more people. Obviously we have a problem with violence in the United States, but is the root problem Muslims? No, it is not. Donald trump comes across as uninformed and disrespectful in this video, he does not know what he is talking about and simply repeats "we need to be vigilant". Obviously we need to always be vigilant, that's not a just reason for banning Muslims from the U.S. We need to be vigilant of every type of person here, not simply his "Muslim friends". When they bring up his competitors responses to his terrible solution, instead of proving why they are wrong in their statements and giving more proof as to why his solution is the best answer, he simply attacks his opponents and brings in irrelevant information about how they shouldn't have any weight in the argument because they are unimportant. How can a mans solution be thought as a good one if the only explanation and reason for it is that "we need to be vigilant", an obvious answer for literally any solution under the sun and when asked to defend it he can only attack others opinions as less worthy? I am fearful of the day that this man could become president of the United States.

  5. I agree. Why would you want people coming into America that want to kill Americans? It seems quite obvious. I feel unsafe because Obama does not care, not an extent, how easy it is for Muslim terrorists to come into our country. It makes sense that we should protect ourselves by decreasing the risk of terrorists entering America through stopping immigration of Muslims.
