  1. I think its great the president of our nation is taking the time to ease the minds of Americans who are very scared for the lives of their loved ones. Mass shootings have become a part of out nations vocabulary. It seems that almost daily there are people dying from shootings. Even though the president is trying to easy peoples minds by addressing the nation as a whole on television, I believe that he can do more. Our president doesn’t want to go in history books as the man that led us into another war but we need to do something about this terrorism. He cannot think about his image at a time like this but rather the lives of the citizens that voted for him because they thought he could lead our nation away from terrorism but rather towards a better economy.

  2. It is amazing that the president is saying this. He is giving people hope that this will be over soon. Many people are scared right now. They are scared for their lives and the lives of other people. Lately there has been many shootings and many innocent people are dying because of them. Although what the president is saying could calm down people, he still needs to act on it. He should be doing more to protect the people than just telling them that everything will be okay.

  3. I really appreciate that Obama took time to address the terrorism going on in America. While terrorism has really impacted Americans since 911, it is good to have Obama ease the minds of the people. While there is so much social media being posted, poisoning the minds of those in America, and frightening them from the terrorism, it is a great thing to have our highest leader stop the fear. It is good to hear such confidence from our leader. “We will prevail” Yeah, well we better! We will not back down. It is great that America is working to take down Isis.

  4. I think it is very professional and great that Obama took the time to calm the nerves of those whom are worried about the terrorism and attacks in America. Terrorism has been a big news heading lately. ISIS and other terrorist groups have attacked and successfully killed many around the world. Obama, or anyone for that matter, has the ability to talk about how terrorism is bad and talk about how it can be stopped, but no one is actually stopping it. Talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words. It is great the Obama has decided to take a stand, but now we wait to see if anything is actually done about these issues in America.

  5. Terrorism is powered by our fears. I think it is a great idea that Obama is taking his time to slowly and comfortably combat terrorism. With all the use of social media and people talking I think we are feeding the fear us Americans have. It is important that our leaders are taking the time to calm our fears. However, I do think it is time for our country to react. We can not keep sitting around and letting ISIS kill innocent civilians. It is time to act. Actions speak louder than words and its time for us to prevail.

  6. Personally, I despise President Obama. But in this case, I think what he did for our fellow American citizens was somewhat great. Terrorism has been a very strong subject in the United States lately. ISIS and other terrorist attack groups have harmed and successfully killed many people around the world. Even though it is very great, and very brave for President Obama to talk about the terrorism and the terrorist attacks, we still see that no one is taking a stand. Yes, it’s fine and great that we are all talking about ISIS and what they have done to us, but someone needs to do something and take a stand on this problem.
