Well to start, I think Hillary Clinton is very unprofessional almost to a level of immaturity. Instead of taking to the time to actually attempt to clear her name or talk about serious issues, as someone who wants to be president should do, she instead chose to participate in junior high-type mockery and humor? Sad! I don’t think I want the future president of my country focusing on child-play rather than the detrimental issues facing our future generations. I understand wanting to publicize yourself, which involves coming on shows like this, but it is crucial what you make of it. And to me, she gave off a very unprofessional energy. Jimmy Fallon gets millions of viewers, so she had a great opportunity to speak one on one to those millions of people, but instead decided to focus on immature mockery. What I find humorous is that the person at the center of severe criticism for serious things is the one taking the time to demote and criticize others for superficial things.
During this segment, it bothered me that only immature and catty remarks were made by Hillary Clinton. I agree with Kelli in that Clinton should have used this time to discuss some more prevalent and controversial topics. She could have discussed her email scandal and used this segment to repair any lost allegiances due to that situation. By focusing so much on Trump’s flaws, she is diverting the subject of conversation from herself and instead hiding behind an inappropriate guise of mockery and jest. If her behavior is any indication of her capabilities in office, it is clear that she is unfit for the presidency. If Americans believe that Clinton will shy away from difficult topics and choose to not take responsibility for her actions, they will not elect her as president. Although Clinton was on a popular late night show, she should have acted with more dignity and sophistication.
I 100 percent agree with everything that Kelly said in her statement. While Hillary Clinton's reputation is at risk already from her previous incident with private emails, her taking part in mockery against her opponent is not what she should have been speaking about while on Jimmy Fallon. Because the Jimmy Fallon show is very popular with many viewers, it would be a great way for Clinton to clear her name and once again be in the clear for her tremendous mistake, as Kelly stated in her comment. While many people are already looking down upon decisions Clinton has made, this childishness won't help persuade citizens of America to vote for her. I know for one, as a citizen of America, I wouldn't want to have a president who still acts like she is in the 5th grade. It would be an embarrassment to have Clinton as president of the United States because of the mistakes she's made, and continues to make. While there are many people with huge rivalries and opponents, many do not act in childish ways. For example, while people compete in the Olympics, they do not make fun of one another on popular live television shows. I don't think it would be good to have a president such as Hillary Clinton run our country. In times of anger, we want a problem solving president, not a president who uses mockery to make herself feel better about the situation. As a grown woman with huge responsibilities, she should have known better than to act so childish.
To me this just displays how poor of a presidential candidate Hilary Clinton is. As president, how you are is reflected on the United States as a whole. Do we really want this joke of a candidate to be how we are defined? She already has shown how much of a pain she will be just by her actions while Secretary of State. She already abused her position and doesn’t know when to use her personal email. What else would she do if she were to become president? The extreme immaturity and lack of propriety in these videos will just be the beginning. Her juvenile displays are just a disgrace.
After watching Hilary Clinton's segment on Jimmy Fallon, I wanted to address Fallon's statement that Trump has called out Hilary for using teleprompters too much during her speeches. I think it is very important for the candidates of the election to be able to speak without a script when addressing the people. Our president needs to be a person who is able to quickly think on his or her feet and find solutions to questions or problems quickly and efficiently. Also, I think it is very inappropriate the way Hilary acted while she was on Fallon's show. She has Fallon pull on and touch her hair and starts to joke around and impersonate her opposing candidates. The presidential candidates should act more professionally. I cannot imagine that other candidates, such as Ben Carson, would act to immaturely.
It is common for Presidential candidates to attack each other personally rather than attack each other’s political views. In this video, Hillary chooses to attack Donald Trump’s hair and stream-of-consciousness speaking style instead of actually disputing any of Trump’s political ideas. On the surface, this makes Clinton seem more personable; her sense of humor helps the audience think that she is just like any other American who enjoys a good laugh. But, on a deeper level, this interview makes Hillary seem extremely shallow. It looks as if Hillary has to attack Trump on a personal level in order to distract from herself and her own flaws. Furthermore, it makes it seem as if Hillary cannot one-up Trump’s political ideas and for that reason, she is forced to sink to personal insults. This would have been a great opportunity for Hillary to address important issues in a satirical manner or use humor to improve her own reputation, but instead she focused on personal flaws of Donald Trump that would have no influence his success as a President.
Are you actually serious, Hillary? She made an appearance on national television, and acted like an absolute clown. As a presidential candidate, she should have been more professional and had a sophisticated poise, but instead she made jokes the whole entire time. She literally asked Jimmy Fallon to pull her hair, imitating Donald Trump's hair situation. When Jimmy asked Hillary about her use of the overly scripted Teleprompters, she just couldn't help herself but to make a joke. Her whole segment was one immature and unprofessional joke after another. An individual that wants to gain America’s vote to become president probably should have addressed some issues in a mature manor.
This segment from the Jimmy Fallon showed just how immature Hillary Clinton is. Hillary has not been the first politician to be on the Jimmy Fallon show. For example Mitt Romney appeared on the show after the 2012 election. Jimmy Fallon is a notoriously funny late night show, but the difference was clearly seen in Romney's stint on the show and Clinton's. Romney made funny jokes but he also incorporated things about his documentary and politically important issues. It was still light hearted and pertinent to his role as a politician. Hillary on the other hand makes no comments about her political goals and instead decides to bash Trump's hair. It clearly shows Hillary Clinton does not have what it takes to be our president let alone any sort of prominent government figure.
This video makes me so mad. I'm embarrassed that people from other countries can watch this video and see how a potential Presidental candidate acts. She makes herself look immature and unprofessional and then tries to bash on other candidates? Makes absolutely no sense to me. A candidate that could one day run our country should be polite, dignified, and never "silly". This interview shows the lengths Hillary is willing to go to make voters like her. Voters don't want someone who is an average person to run our country. We want a qualified person who takes the job seriously which Hillary just showed isn't her.
I think Hillary Clinton was being unprofessional. She barely even answered the question she was asked and did not defend herself she just went into making fun of Trump. Even though I do not think Donald Trump is the ideal candidate for the presidency, I do not want Hillary to be president either. Making fun of each other is a constant for the presidential candidates. As a potential voter in the next election, this is very annoying because I actually want to know what each candidate has planned to help the country. I do not plan to just vote for the candidate that has the best insults.
I'm shocked at the way Hilary Clinton acted on the Tonight Show. She is literally throwing her body at him, asking him to touch her hair, and what looks like to me maybe some flirting. Thats down right embarrassing for a 67 year old presidential candidate to be acting especially on public television. There is no way I would want are country to be represented by her. She is acting like a stereotypical American girl which just gives other countries a greater opportunity to criticize America. How will she take being president of The United States of America if she is acting like a teenager on tv. The only thing she said about Trump was about his hair... Being president is obviously very serious. It's not a job to go on celebrity talk shows and joke around. America deserves a president worthy of making a change and creating a stronger economic, social, and political society for future generations. If she is going to act inappropriate and have no self control or respect on tv she is clearly not worthy. Unfortunately for Hilary having good hair wont get you elected president.
First off, Hilary was very unprofessional in her interview. Instead of talking about Donald Trumps hair, she should’ve used the time on the Tonight Show to promote herself and talk about important issues and her views on them. Second, she was very flirty with the talk show host, which again, is very unprofessional for someone who is aspiring to be the leader of our nation. How are we, the American people, supposed to trust her with our nation if she’s acting like a child? In conclusion, I feel that if Hilary would’ve acted more her age and talked about things that mattered, then she would’ve had a lot more people taking her seriously rather than laughing at her.
Watching this video clip of Hillary Clinton, makes me really nervous that she is running for our next president. Watching how she acted with Jimmy Fallon and how she conducted herself, is not what I expect to see from a potential future president. She, first of all, was almost flirting with Jimmy with very inappropriate behavior that no one knew what was happening. If she wants to be the next President of the United States, she needs to hold herself better and not be so inappropriate, especially on a live tv show that millions of people watch. Personally, I do not think Hillary Clinton is off to a good start because of this situation and the whole email email debacle. Hillary needs to figure out how to hold herself better if she wants people to respect her as a candidate for the next President.
Watching Hillary Clinton's interview with Jimmy Fallon left me completely speechless. She is very unprofessional and immature. I wonder what goes through her mind when she is RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT and decide to acts like this on world-wide television. It seems as if she doesn't take her position seriously. In a way, Hillary is putting a bad name on women. She doesn't even talk about politics while being interviewed, she talks about irrelevant information such as hair and appearance... that is something someone our age would do. She is a joke and no one in their right mind should want our country to be represented by her. If running for president is a joke to her, then she is a joke to me, and she does not deserve to be President of the United States.
This video makes me realize how little serious Hillary Clinton really is. Hillary's interview is a prime example of why she should not be our next president and why she shouldn't even be running as a presidential candidate. Although the interview was entertaining, it is very unprofessional. She should have used this interview to her advantage by stating her thoughts and ideas about current issues In our government today. Clinton also shows her immaturity through discussing Donald trump and his looks instead of discussing politics. Clinton showed her true colors in this interview. She showed the world that she is not ready nor will ever be ready to take on the responsibilities as the next United States President. The United States needs a president with a good character and who is mature enough to make executive decisions for this country.
Hillary Clinton running for president is obnoxious.Thats really the only reason why I hate this interview, because she's in it. Other than that, I found it entertaining quite honestly. Trump is my favorite candidate, Hillary is my least favorite. Naturally, I'm going to find this video annoying to watch. However, I don't really think Hillary is out of line in anything that she says in this. Considering Trump makes comments about several candidates looks and views, Hillary doesn't really need to justify anything she says in this. It seems as if the election is free game at this point; candidates can really say whatever they want, whatever they feel, or however they view someone.
This video makes me extremely sad for where our country is headed. Hillary is here, acting like a child and making fun of other candidates, yet she will still most likely be the chosen candidate for the presidency. When I think of Hillary, I do not see a good present, I see a woman who does not want to deal with all the accusations so instead diverts people's attention away from them. When she was in the midst of her interrogation for sending the emails from a private email address, she would constantly do something completely different (and completely unprofessional) to change the topic around. She also did the same thing when she was responding to Benghazi and started to cry, this was completely unprofessional and uncalled for and allowed her to not actually respond to the questions. She does the exact same thing in this video, she is accused of using teleprompters too much and instead of explaining herself and why she does or trying to make a point to defend herself, she acts immature and unprofessional and simply makes fun of someone else for not using them. This is not the way that i want our country to be run, by someone who instead of taking the blame and explaining her actions, places the blame on her opponents. This is such a middle schooler move, and I cannot imagine what will become of our country if she is elected as our leader.
I agree with Irene completely. Whenever she is questioned about a past or current issue, she avoids the issue and switches topics. A future president should be able to handle confrontation and accusations thrown at them with a different, more acknowledging approach, rather than be a coward. Like Irene said, I do not see her as being a future president who will need to be in charge of the whole country if she can't be straight up with anything. If people who watched this video still wanted to vote for her, then I'm scared because I don't see how this woman could ever run our country.
Hilary could not have acted more immature and unprofessional than she did on this show. I would not want to live in a country with someone like her as my president. She is supposed to represent the people of this country and should have taken advantage of this opportunity to promote herself and discuss her views on issues. Yet she acted like a coward, flirting with the host, and bad-mouthing opponents. The whole segment was filled with inappropriate, unprofessional, and immature jokes. I hope people realize how embarrassing it would be to live in a country with Clinton as our president, and don't vote for her.

I understand that during the presidential elections, imitating each other as candidates in office is common. But Hillary is taking it too far as she always does. Considering that Jimmy Fallon is one of the top nighttime talk shows in which millions of viewers watch each night, she should have been more careful. Also, I agree with everyone else who said this was pure immaturity. It disgusts me to see a grown woman act in this manner, especially if she would considered to run as our country’s leader one day. This interview displays the lengths Hillary is willing to go to just for the votes. Voters don't want someone who is an immature person to run our country. I believe and will always believe that Hillary is not fit to run our country. She doesn’t deserve the title.
Hillary's attempt to seem relatable with her sense of humor and banter with Jimmy Fallon completely backfired. She came off immature and child-like. As a presidential candidate it was completely unprofessional for her to ask Fallon to play with her hair as well as make fun of Trumps hair and presentation technique. When Fallon questioned Clinton on her overuse of a teleprompter she completely dogged the question with her immature mocking. As the potential face of our country, I would assume she would act less like a middle school girl and more like a leader. When faced with difficult questions she needs to be able to respond appropriately. I had no problem with her use of a teleprompter, however her inappropriate response without one, made me rethink this logic. If she wants the honor of President, she needs to step up her maturity.
If i were to see this video and not know who Hilary Clinton was or what position she was running for, i would have never guessed she would be running to be the leader of our nation. Seeing this video, I thought of her as more of a celebrity that people mock all the time because they just don't care about how they present themselves. If she were any ordinary person, this interview would have been fine with me, but because she is running for such a prestigious position, this was not the right time to act this way. There is a time and place to act like this, and this was not it. Also, the mockery of Donald Trump makes Hilary no better than Donald when it comes to making inappropriate rude comments. Hilary's maturity level better step up if she wants the respect and honor of a whole nation.
Hillary Clinton is running to be the President of the United States. Her child-like actions are far from fitting the leader of our country. I am all for some innocent banter, but when you are running for such a prestigious position, you should not be acting like that. When Hillary was asked bout her constant use of teleprompters, she immediately hid behind a joke. In my opinion, I do not think using teleprompters is bad. In fact, I think it is a very good thing. How I see it, she knows what she wants to say before an event and has it all planned out and in front of her ready to say. However, I do see the points that she shouldn’t use them all of the time because she needs to be able to think on the spot and address the nation fluidly. As long as there is a balance, I see nothing wrong with the use of teleprompters in Hillary's campaign.
Hillary clinton is part of what makes the people running in this election a joke. She is being extremely unprofessional on one of the most watched late night shows in the United States. She had the opportunity to tell people her side of the story behind committing treason. She used this segment to degrade Trump but when a person's changes from promoting herself to degrading her competitors. This shows she has nothing left to discuss as to why she should be the face of america and go down in history as the first women president. To a women who hopes to prove herself to the world later in life I feel Clinton is an embarrassment and should not be president.
This video bothered me because it felt like a mockery segment on a talk show and nothing more. Hillary Clinton is running for president, a position of the highest most authority in the United states, yet she is treating her publicity as a joke. When someone is as famous as she is, or any political figure for that matter, any press is strong press. Even something as casual as a talk show can be used to build or break a reputation. In Hilary's case, I think it weakened her rep. No one will want to vote for a woman who acts like a child the way she did in this segment. Why put your running mates down when you could use your tv time for strengthening your own reputation? I find what she talked about highly immature.
ReplyDeleteWell to start, I think Hillary Clinton is very unprofessional almost to a level of immaturity. I hope people realize how embarrassing it would be to live in a country with Clinton as our president, and don't vote for her.
ReplyDeleteI understand that during the presidential elections, imitating each other as candidates in office is common.
ReplyDeleteHillary's attempt to seem relatable with her sense of humor and banter with Jimmy Fallon completely backfired.
ReplyDeleteIf i were to see this video and not know who Hilary Clinton was or what position she was running for, i would have never guessed she would be running to be the leader of our nation.
ReplyDeleteHillary Clinton is running to be the President of the United States.
ReplyDeleteHillary clinton is part of what makes the people running in this election a joke.
ReplyDeleteThis video bothered me because it felt like a mockery segment on a talk show and nothing more.
