When watching this debate, Carly Fiorina really impressed me and finally made an impression. Before this presidential debate, I only knew of her because she was the only female Republican candidate. After she upgraded to the prime-time stage for this debate, she made a name for herself as an assertive politician. As much as I love Donald Trump, she stomped on his ego with some of her comebacks. In Trump's interview with Rolling Stone, he said something along the lines of, "Look at that face. Why would anyone vote for that?" Fiorina simply responded with, "Women all over the country heard you." This comment was so simple, yet had such a large message that earned her the respect of viewers and fellow politicians. I can't wait to see if Fiorina's future performances will live up to this.
