The House was definitely in need of a change. Paul Ryan is young and practices more modern politics which I think will be beneficial to the House. Ryan is realistic about the current state of the House and I think he will bring a fresh perspective. I think his ideas to give more opportunities for minorities to speak out is a good in order to placate the minorities. I think he is smart to recognize the role that the Democrats play in House politics. The key for Ryan to be successful will be unifying the Republicans within the House. Ryan will have to conflict with the president over government spending. Ryan has a tough job ahead of him, so hopefully he rises to the occasion and helps to fix the House.
