This video is absolutely unacceptable, and quite frankly it disgusts me and many others. In what world, is it acceptable to teach your children that screaming swear words and other vulgar language is a way to get what they want? That is exactly what these narrow-minded Latinos are doing; they are teaching their children that in order to get their voice heard, they must scream "f***k" on the top of their lungs- unacceptable. If these people are unhappy (these adults, I should say... we all know they are brainwashing their young children who are clearly unable to understand how complicated the situation really is) then take action in a way that sheds positive light on the situation. These people are proclaiming that they hate Trump because of what he says and how they act. In reality, how is what they're doing any better? Well, it's not. These kids are being taught to fight for their rights in the wrong way- a true shame that will effect not only them, but the rest of the country for the rest of their lifetime.
After watching the video in class I was appalled. Not only because of the offensive language but the ages of the children in it. Thee children are so young and expressing their hatred for someone in such a vulgar way. I thought it was completely uncalled for. I can understand their dislike for Donald Trump and not believing in his views but this was not the way to go about especially getting young children involved. I also thought it was completely hypocritical considering they are speaking their hatred for Trump just like he did, rather than being mature about the situation and go about it in a less controversial and offensive way. This does nothing but put a negative image towards the Latino population and they will if they haven't already lost a lot of respect because of this.
I agree with Maren and Christina. In what way is it beneficial to teach children to use vulgar language to get what they want? The situation is so much more complicated than saying “I f*cking hate Trump!” I do not believe these kids know the half of the whole situation. This video was disgusting to watch. To see young children screaming swear words is despicable. I was dumbfounded at this video. This does not shine a good light on immigrants in any way. In my opinion, this will sway people to vote for Trump. I do not support innocent children to use such awful language to get their message across. There are so many better ways to state one’s thoughts.
I completely agree with Kate, Christina, and Maren. In what world is it right to teach kids to act improperly in order to get what they want, especially at such young ages? The ends to not justify the means. Just because they are trying to send a message, doesn't mean it is acceptable to glorify vulgarity. If these kids and parents want to get a point across, free speech allows them to do so and they have a right to their beliefs, but putting it across in such an indecent way is never going to efficiently get anything done. If these families wants to bash Donald Trump for the “vulgar” things he’s said, how does it make it right for them to use profanity and offensive language in return. Two wrongs don’t make a right. If they want to go out and publicly disapprove of Trump because of the things he’s saying, they need to practice what they are preaching. Putting out a positive message will always have better affects than going about something pessimistically.
The First Amendment, grants Americans the right to freedom of speech. With that being said, this video seems to abuse this right. Teaching young, innocent children to swear at the top of their lungs and hate a cause that they do not fully understand is a crime. Telling these kids to say those swear words plants a seed of hatred in them. It will continue to develop within them over the years as they grow up and eventually it may consume them. Furthermore, it is teaching them that it is acceptable to use foul language and bad mouth people in order to express their opinions and to disagree with someone. What will happen when they disagree with someone at school? Will they start to swear at other children or teachers and develop hate for them as well? It was immature for their parents to use their children in this video. They are teaching them wrong lessons about life. Their message would be treated more seriously if adults made a video that eloquently stated their position and rationally explained their standpoint.
This video takes advantage of the First Amendment because all it promotes is for children to talk trash. The video has no beneficial value. It influences children to have such negative attitudes towards others. It promotes children to have a closed-mind and hate towards others who have different opinions. It influences children to use inappropriate language and scream when they are in a disagreement. The children in this video obviously know nothing about the arguments that Trump and other who don't believe in illegal immigrants living in our country for free. You cant convince people by having children swearing and wearing t-shirts with inappropriate slogans on them that it is ok to live in our country for free. The adults that put this video together are clearly uneducated and want pity because they want to live in our country for free. Luckily this video was unsuccessful.
When we first watched this video in class I was appalled at the lack of respect for themselves these children had. Although they were fighting for their rights they approached it all in the wrong way. Using vulgarity to fight injustice never solves anything. I do however agree with what they are fighting for. Donald trump has treated them as though they are animals, calling them names and not acting as though they are "worthy" of being citizens. I am not saying that I do not agree with his plan for immigration, but I do not up think he handles the communication of his solution well. I understand the reason that Latinos are getting angry at him because he say very discriminatory things against them. This still however does not excuse the fact that the Latinos used children to communicate their message. They may have had a good message to share, but fighting back with only more vulgarity will not improve the situation. This was an unacceptable and inappropriate way to handle the situation.
I am absolutely APPALLED by this video. The fact that young children are being taught that its okay to swear if its for a "good cause" is absolutely ridiculous. Where are their parents or their morals? This shows other children that its cool to swear and if you swear there will be no consequences. This is ridiculous. Watching a 7-year-old drop F bombs makes me sick. No child should be saying those things in general and especially not infront of an audience. This video should be taken down because I do not feel that it gets their message across. After watching this, I think way less about Trump's policies and WAY more about how sad and wrong the video itself is.
I am completely shocked, not only because of the young kids screaming and swearing, but at the fact their parents allowed them to take part is such a horrible anti-campaign. These kids obviously have no real knowledge of what is going on in the political world, and were clearly influenced by their parents to do this. If their parents had a strong opinion about trump, they should have expressed their feelings in a different way rather then exploit their kids on the internet. I find it quite disgusting but at the same time feel bad for the children featured in the video. Using kids in a video that is vulgar doesn't prove a point, it just makes people sick. In my opinion, I did not hear anything valid about how Donald trump is so horrible to Latinos, all I heard was a 10 year old swearing and yelling in my face.

When we first watched this video in class I was completely appalled. These children are so long and they are screaming swear words at a man they don't like because of what their parents have told them. Children that young do not know and understand anything, they are mimic their parents. And these parents have obviously talked badly about Trump in front of their children and have taught them how to swear. These children are going to grow up believing that they can yell and swear at anyone they disagree with. The video of these children screaming and swearing did get a lot of attention, but not all publicity is good. No good points were made, no one watching this video is thinking about Donald Trump or why he is so horrible because they are all focusing on how young these kids are and how awful the parents are for exploiting their children. Adults making a video and making valid points and rational explanations would may have not been as popular, but it would have gotten their point across in a proper, respectable way.
Even though these people feel strongly about the fact that Donald Trump is not fit to be the president of the United States, I don’t think that this video is a great way to portray the message. People will not take you seriously if you yell swear words at the camera. Also, putting little children into the video and making them swear is not the right way to go. I would not take a child seriously if they were swearing at me. Although I do not agree with many things that Donald Trump says, I do believe that the people who made this video should have gone about it in a completely different way.
