  1. I would highly recommend this article to someone who doesn't know what's happening in Paris. This article states facts and world reactions to the gruesome attacks that happened in Paris this weekend. ISIS has always been a threat to the world, but I never thought something this tragic would actually happen. I though that ISIS would be gone by the time they wanted to attack a country like France. I was wrong. A lot of people are saying that World War 3 is coming. Sadly, in my opinion, I also believe another world war is bound to happen. It makes me so scared. Seeing something like this really opens my eyes to the horrors of ISIS. The United States needs to step up. People are dying. We need to send more troops and more airstrikes and more assistance to European countries and our allies.

  2. I agree with Mary when she says that this article would be very useful for people who don’t know a lot about what is happening in Paris. Being informed about the situation that is going on in Paris is very important because it influences the United States. This article shows us the facts about what happened and informs us about what exactly happened in Paris. It tells us about how many people have unfortunately passed away from these horrible actions. It also informs us about how many people have been caught who are identified as one of the bombers. This article is very useful for reporting the correct facts about the horrible tragedies that happened in Paris. Hopefully the United States can help along with other countries to come up with a solution to help defeat ISIS.

  3. I agree with Mary and Maddy that this article is very informative for people who aren’t exactly sure what happened in Paris. We need articles like this that are strictly informative because it is important to avoid people spreading falsified or fabricated information around the world. We need to be informed on the verified evidence and facts so people and governments can respond appropriately. In addition to this article, I am pleased that the news networks have been covering this attack 24/7. People around the world are concerned with what is going on and what will come of this attack, so it is crucial to have access to information at all times. But, I also believe that some light needs to be shed on other attacks happening at the same time as Paris. It is devastating what has happened in Paris, but also what is happening in other countries that isn’t being covered by the media. The world needs to know the severity, magnitude of ISIS, and also realistic potential for other attacks.

  4. Well, i obviously agree with everyone that it is important to know whats going on in the world around us. It is very important that we know whats going on in our world so that not only are we informed and educated but so that we can take the right precautions to avoid being in the situation. All of the news networks have been on the ball with covering this topic. Its just very unfortunate that every day something else happens. Its scary, horrifying, and concerning. As the United States of America we must come together as a nation. The world needs to know just how serious this is. Barack Obama recently stated in a news article, "ISIS is not a threat to the United States." I guess that statement just confuses me. According to the media we are at very high risk for attack and anyone that is planning on attending events in highly populated areas should be on high alert for any suspicious behavior.

  5. I agree with Christine. Its important to know whats going on in the world we live in and to take notice at the events that are occurring around us. I think as americans, it is in our nature to want to be educated in our worlds problems and to attempt to comprehend why terror and and such horrifying events have to happen. The Paris terror attacks have been all over the news, the web and in our papers. ISIS is a threat the the united states. ISIS is hurting and killing the people of our allies and as the nation that we are known as we need to acknowledge and to take control of this situation. Moreover, I think that Obama needs to get his stuff together and as the commander and chief make a plan and follow through with wiping out ISIS. This world does not need anymore death, and war. This world needs peace.

  6. I wish I could understand why things like this happen. Why innocent civilians have to die. It's unfair, it's cruel, and it's unjust. More articles like this need to be published because it isn't biased, it isn't one-sided or narrow-minded, it is straight forward and incredibly informative. However, now that articles like this along with newspapers, magazines, and television media have already done their job on informing the world of what happened that deadly night in Paris, it is time for the officials of the United States to step up and do something. We are incredibly threatened right now, and we must, as the most powerful country in the world, take action. I am at a loss of words to understand why the public isn't aware of a plan of action- that is what we need. We don't need to talk about CLIMATE CHANGE. Unbelievable. If Reagan was president, Isis would have been blown up into smithereens long ago.

  7. This article is good for anyone who did not know what happened in Paris. It explains what has happened, about how many people have been killed and who did everything. It is a terrible thing that has happened. Hundreds of people were killed and somewhere taken hostage. Even though ISIS had made threats to countries, I didn’t think something like this would have happened. All of the other counties should be ready just in case ISIS does something, something happened in Paris and could happened anywhere else. There are so many people dying every day. The United States should do something to put an end to what is happening.

  8. This article has a lot of great incite into what actually happened during the Paris attacks rather than what the media stations think happened. This attack was not only an attack on the people of Paris, but humanity as a whole. I honestly don’t understand what can compel a human being to kill another human and have no remorse over it. I also don’t understand how these people can take their own life because the people of ISIS are making them think it’s the only way. Many innocent lives were lost in this attack and I wish it could have been prevented.

  9. I obviously agree with everyone that is saying that it is important to know what is going on in the world. The Paris attacks have been all over the news, on the internet, and in our papers. It is our natural tendency to be curious about what is going in around us. We are nosy people. ISIS has been killing people for a long time now and not much has been done to stop them. It seems like now that ISIS is "hitting closer to home" now that they have moved into Europe. Now that ISIS has hit our forefront, now we are wanting to take action. Obama needs to take action to eradicate ISIS once and for all. We need to keep our country safe, while also looking out for others along the way. Now is the time to take action; we can't keep prolonging this.

  10. ISIS has been gaining power since the United States withdrew troops from Iraq. After the Paris bombing and Beirut bombing ISIS demonstrated their power and showed the world they are a force that demands attention. This has made people more aware because it is not just in the MIddle East now and most have shunned the Middle East from media. However i do find it interesting that President Bush predicted that when the US pulled troops from Iraq leaviging them with no government structed a radical terrorist group would step wu and gain power, and that they did. People need to be educated with current events and potential threats and the media has been doing an okay job reporting all of it so far.

  11. When I heard the tragic news of the terrorist attacks in Paris, I was stunned. I have read in the news of shootings in schools and movies theaters in the U.S. and while I was deeply saddened and heartbroken over the losses of people, the terrorist attacks in Paris left me speechless. I was terrified at the fact something like this could happen in this world and also terrified by the people who committed such awful crimes. I am baffled that a group of people exists who want to hurt and kill others and want to spread hatred across the world. Action needs to be taken to stop ISIS immediately. I am aware countries have attacked ISIS, but I will not feel safe unless ISIS is diminished. The attacks on Paris are so incredibly heart wrenching. I will continue to pray for those affected by ISIS and for end to this madness.

  12. The Paris attacks were truly a terrible tragedy. It is scary to think that Isis can strike anytime, anywhere. This article gives a lot of incite on what exactly happened in Paris. It is very helpful to know about the terrible things that strike other countries so that we can send our love and prayers to those in pain or suffering. I guess I just don't understand the whole idea of Isis. They kill and torture because they want everyone to follow their strict religion. They do not look at the big picture of what they are actually doing, they are spreading hatred and sadness instead of trying to spread the goodness of their religion they want so badly for people to follow. It is disgusting and sad that Isis has yet again hurt and killed. I will never understand Isis, and quite frankly I don't want too.
