I’m confused! How can an a non-citizen living in the United States even get away with voting five times!!?? I think this brings the upcoming presidential elections into the spotlight. Many democrats, including Hillary Clinton, believe that illegal aliens living in the United States should have the right to vote. Republicans highly oppose suffrage for illegal immigrants. I do not think they should be granted the right to vote. I mean if they really wanted to vote so badly, then they should just come to our county legally. I get that it takes a while to become a US citizen and that many people would rather come illegally, but honestly, illegal immigrants should not expect to be granted suffrage, and we should not grant it to them.
The fact that a non citizen was so easily able to illegally vote on five separate occasions is absolutely absurd. She is likely one of numerous illegal voters in the United States. One vote might not seem harmful, but hundreds could be influential on the outcome of elections and other votes. This definitely should raise numerous red flags regarding regulations for voting. Especially for the upcoming presidential election, the government needs to tighten voting security. All voters should need to show photo identification before voting. Those who can not afford this should be given one by government. The security of the elections is worth the cost. Additionally, the article stated that she tried to register to vote but was denied when she stated she was not a citizen. She returned and simply lied about it the next time and was approved. Voting registration should be fact checked to avoid these illegal voters.
This situation is very messed up and very scary for the citizens of the United States. I understand if a non citizen got away with voting once, it was a mistake... but 5 times? Someone isn't doing their job. If only one has gotten caught, imagine how many non citizens are voting for the government of the United States. Every individual vote counts and if there are non-citizens voting, it is not fair nor is it right to let that happen. Something needs to happen. The security and voting registration needs to actually be looked at, and if there are any red flags, they situation needs to be investigated. The future of the United States should not be altered due to non-U.S. citizens voting. They don't live here, they don't get a say. If they are illegal, they got denied citizenship for a reason and it is scary that they get to be a part of the voting for the U.S. government officials.
I am very worried for the citizens of the United States. A non citizen should NEVER be allowed to vote once let alone vote 5 times!!! This is absurd. If more people followed this person's example they could have a HUGE impact on our nation. There needs to be more diligence when checking voting and the whole voting system should be checked because of this incident. The security working the voting registration should be fired and better training must be set up to make sure this never happens again.
The first question is, why is a noncitizen voting? And the second question is, why was this non US citizen voting 5 times??? It is absurd that any of this happened in the first place. If more people think that they can get away with voting more than one time, it could seriously impact our nation. People vote because they want to voice their opinions, and it is only fair that each person's opinion is weighted the same. One person should not have more of a voice than the other citizens. It really shows that we need to work on the process and security of voting registration.
I am confused about the fact that a non citizen got the okay to vote. Where was the identity check and security you need to go through to vote. Also how do you vote will out registering first? In regards to voting five times this is highly concerning how that was even allowed. If more people did this and got away with it this could impact our nation in such a negative way. America is known for out high security and laws in place regarding laws and the rules that follow so whoever made this mistake should most definitely have consequences and be fired. Also more intense training recording the security should be put into place so this never happens again.
This is proof that voter fraud is real. It blows my mind how this women was able to not only vote but register. While I have not registered to vote myself, I would think that you would have to prove your citizenship to do so. As Americans, voting is one of our greatest rights, and I would think it would be protected as such. This woman successfully voted five times and by doing so took away from the specialness of our voting rights as CITIZENS! I think that our government should protect the exclusiveness of our citizenship at all costs. Especially when it comes to voting.
This women should not have been able to vote once, let alone five times. It is concerning to think that a non-citizen was able to get through "voting security." I'm not sure if she falsified her information or sneaked in, but either way the people there need to be more aware of what is going on around them, to say the least. Who knows if any other people, citizen or non-citizen, has voted more than once. This could be quite problematic fro our nation if people are getting away with this. Whoever was in charge of security/checking people in needs to be held accountable. Also, something preventative needs to be done so that nothing like this happens again.
This just shows that the country is not being careful enough with keeping track of its citizens and non-citizens. Whats the point of voting once to have your voice heard if somehow people are figuring out how to vote more than once? Like Kelly said, this can seriously impact our nation. The reason we have limitations on the amount of times one citizen is allowed to vote is to ensure that everyones voice is heard equally. If a lady was able to vote five times, one of those five votes will have knocked out another citizen's vote. Everyones vote should be counted equally and the fact that this incident somehow passed security is ridiculous and honestly scares me. This makes me worried for the future--I don't want this incident to inspire other non-US citizens to do the same thing because it could very negatively our nation.

ReplyDeleteIt seems a no brainer, but... some Dems think Republicans discriminate by insisting on voter ID at polls- especially Alan
